On 8/24/2010, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced the Phase 2 Race to the Top winners. The 10 winning applicants include: the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Rhode Island.

TestWiz is web-based software that addresses the need to make sense of assessment data. It works well for identifying student, group, and curriculum areas that require intervention. It comes with an underlying database that makes it possible to track progress over time and to view multiple assessment results on a single report.
Students’ demographics and test results are stored on a secure server hosted by dataMetrics Software. All data transfer to and from the server is encrypted. TestWiz supports virtually any achievement assessment and provides users with the advantage of a single tool to analyze all tests.
